It's been over seven months since Apple first

AirPower charging mat at a March event, the company will likely
announce the availability of wireless charging cases for its AirPods wireless earbuds.
No other new features were mentioned, and the company hasn't yet
announced availability or pricing information, though we suspect the case will be available in early 2018, at the same time as the
AirPower multi-device charger.
Apple held an event on March 27, but the
AirPower was not
announced.

announced back in September (Apple only promised a 2018 release window), and iOS 11.3 has been in beta for weeks now.
