There are some irritating aspects to RE7's
gameplay that had me rolling my eyes
at points, and the game could have benefited from a deeper look
at whether certain elements were actually «scary» rather than just «
annoying.»
At the end of the day, though, I feel that despite all of its pitfalls and frustrations No Time To Explain is ultimately a fun little game that is worth picking up unless you're the kind of person that finds trial and error
gameplay too

annoying in Revengeance because they take far too long to break out of, breaking the flow of
gameplay, and sometimes it even felt impossible to break free
at all, despite almost wrecking my analog stick.
This is because I usually find the ways difficulty is added (less health / deal less damage) can be
annoying and almost work against the
gameplay at times.

The result is that while average frame - rates are
at their highest on PlayStation 3, the experience is deeply unsatisfactory, manifesting as a near - constant judder with many
annoying pauses - something that is completely alien to original Silent Hill
gameplay.
There were a few elements during
gameplay sequences however, that just did not quite work right such as prompts to perform a «takedown» or breaking open a door which left me a bit
annoyed at times.
Personally, I found these flying sequences to be the most enjoyable part of Drakengard's
gameplay, but I found myself more than a little
annoyed at the lazy camera that just couldn't keep up with the frantic aerobatics.
You won't care too much for the protagonists and you'll grow
annoyed with the classic FPS
gameplay methods
at times, but you'll still get a kick out of shooting down them darn Nazis.
