Annual Measureable Objectives (AMOs) targets are set based on percent proficient in each of language arts and mathematics for each school and subgroup in
annual equal increments toward a goal of reducing by half the percentage of students in the all - students group and in each subgroup who are not proficient within six years.
Annual measurable objectives, based on a performance index, set by the commissioner in 2005 - 2006 and, beginning in 2008 - 2009, increasing annually in
equal increments through 2009 - 2010 and then reset at 122 in 2010 - 2011 and increasing annually in
equal increments so as to reach 200 in 2013 - 2014.
