As if you needed another reason to cheer for family dogs, a recent study found that our beloved pooches actually help decrease
anxiety in young children.
In part, these bedtime battles may be caused by the practice of solitary sleeping — a Western custom that may trigger separation

younger grade - schoolers may not be able to fully explain their feelings, whereas older kids may be able to say exactly what's bothering them and why (though that's no guarantee that they'll share that information with Mom or Dad).

in children younger than 3 years, television viewing is associated with irregular sleep schedules.42 Poor sleep habits have adverse effects on mood, behavior, and learning.
Increased pressures at school and within peer groups, along with confusion and
anxiety over puberty, are often cited reasons for the increased emotionality
