Yeah, the point of the
dock for me is easy access to
apps that I use, and they might not be open
at the time.
Perhaps the main difference here is that there's now a Google search bar
at the bottom of the display, below the
app dock.
The
dock at the bottom of the screen can contain many more
apps, and you can now swipe up from the bottom of the screen in any
app to more easily switch between
apps.
The biggest difference you'd notice is that you can now open the
app drawer by swiping up from anywhere, as opposed to having to start your swipe from the
dock at the bottom of the screen.
A customizable selection of favorites can be arranged
at the top of the screen while an ever - present
dock of core
apps (Browser, Market, Email, Gallery, Music) runs across the bottom of the screen.
For example, it has a new customizable
dock that can be pulled up
at the bottom of the screen with a finger flick to give you quick access to your favorite
apps.
For the display, you can enable a blue light filter to reduce eye strain
at night, adjust screen color temperature, add a floating navigation
dock for easier reachability, remap navigation keys, and lock individual
apps and files.
Instead of creating a full - blown Mac
app that you'd launch from the
dock, Product Hunt for Mac is tucked away into the toolbar
at the top of your screen.

Cash - strapped schools could create hot spots for

Craig Federighi, vice-president of software engineering announced today that Apple's latest Mac update, macOS Sierra, will see Siri arrive within the Finder
app, located in the operating system's

The visual cues are all there, from the fonts to the
