From those in the yards of the neighbours on my childhood street, to the tall hills flanking both sides of Penticton that abound with pear,
apple, cherry, apricot, and peach
orchards, there are few things more evocative - or symbolic - of this corner of British Columbia to me than its
bounty of fruit trees.
