With your feedback in mind, and letting me know that all of you love easy, delicious breakfast treats, I decided to bring you another delicious
apple version of this recipe.
I usually try to use a combination of apple varieties when making
an apple version of this recipe just because I feel it creates a more complex flavor, but any of the above listed apples or pears will work out great.
Not exact matches
For a non-alcoholic
version of this
recipe, replace the rum with 1/4 cup
apple juice, increase the chicken broth to 1/3 cup and reduce the amount
of honey to 1 tablespoon.
The
recipe that inspired this
version called out for
apple cider to be used instead
of apple cider vinegar.
It was only a matter
of time before I made a

of this healthy and delicious
version.

Bread pudding is one
of my favorites and this
recipe is quite similar to my own «method» (meaning that I do not use a real
recipe but incorporate what is on hand with the basic ingredients) My very, very best
version uses leftover, homemade biscuits that have been split, buttered and toasted... add some dried peaches cut into small pieces, the plumped cranberries, toasted nuts and usually a chopped
apple.
I have an 8 yr old that we are just starting gluten free with and he loves my grandmas

version we replaced lemon juice with
Apple Cider Vinegar and added 1 Tablespoon
of Nutritional Yeast to the mix.

recipes on this blog that I'm most proud
of, not because it's hard or super creative, but because it turns one
of my childhood favorite
