charter school is expected to enroll students, contains a comparable academic and demographic profile; and (xvi) plans
for disseminating successes and innovations of the
charter school to other non-
charter public
schools.
The change appears to be part of a broader strategy
by the Malloy administration to approve some
charter schools for this coming year and then return after the election to approve other
applications when fewer parents, teachers and public
school advocates will be paying attention.
