Once the black pieces were cut, I laid them out on each shirt before
applying fabric glue to the back of each and attaching them to the shirts.
Iron on the adhesive or
apply fabric glue to the wrong side of fabric, then fold and press to create finished edges.

apply heat with an iron to attach, or use
