I'm happy to do readings, to appear at book clubs, to answer emails, and to write thank you notes to
appreciative readers.
But it's getting more and more possible for midlist authors to find an audience of
appreciative readers and make a living or at least pay some bills as self - published authors and it's because of the rise of eBooks and online distributors like Amazon.
But in the end it all depends on how
appreciative your readers (those, reading pirated books) are..
They published both flashes that I submitted, and without the positive comments from other writers, and
appreciative readers, I would not have been so encouraged to progress with my writing.
I mentioned a worry, and I tried to state very carefully why even
an appreciative reader might have this worry.

I'm sure they get bombarded with questions all the time and sometimes the questions are more loaded than the person asking thinks but either way, I am so

readers and leave them with some advice.
This requires those listening to focus on being an attentive,
appreciative audience, and the
reader to focus on developing their confidence in expressing themselves.
