We do NOT arrange meetings between interested individuals and our
fosters until an applicant has been conditionally
approved via the adoption
application process (Steps 1 - 5 above).

What happens once an adoption
application is
approved for my
foster dog?

All of our cats and kittens are housed in individual
foster homes (not a shelter), and the initial
application must be
approved prior to meeting individual
foster cats.
If the
application is
approved, the Adoption Coordinator will put you in touch with the appropriate
foster home (s) so you can schedule a time to meet the cats / kittens that interest you most.
After your
application is reviewed and
approved, you will get to talk to the
foster parent (s) and learn all about the dog you're interested in adopting.
I understand that my
application will be reviewed by the Midwest Boston Terrier Volunteer /
Foster Committee and will be notified by email or telephone of any questions, concern, and / or decision to
approve or deny my volunteer /

If you have common sense, general pet knowledge, room for a
foster dog and the desire to be a
foster home, you can become a
foster home once the below
application is filled out and you have been
approved by CPCRN.

Approved foster care provider» means an individual, nonprofit corporation, or association that cares for stray animals that has been favorably assessed by the operator of the animal shelter through the
application of written standards.
After your
application is
approved, then we can arrange for you to meet one of our
foster dogs!
If, within 28 days, no representations are received and no
application is made to the IRM, the decision maker is free to decide whether or not to
approve the applicant as a
foster carer (following a full assessment), continue the assessment (following a brief report) or amend their terms of approval.
