In iOS 9 Apple added support to allow users open two
apps on the screen at once, but Apple restricted this feature to its iPad range, meaning iPhone users couldn't take advantage of it.
It allows you to open simultaneously two different
apps on the screen at the same time.
Now you can run four
apps on the screen at one time, and you can drag and drop content between Windows.
Chrome OS as a tablet would let you run multiple Android
apps on screen at a time — something that isn't possible outside of Samsung's custom multi-window mode.

apps on the screen at once with Multi-window.
It's a pretty impressive feat mainly because Android by default doesn't support running two
apps on the screen at the same time.
But, compared to the iPad's nonexistent support for multiple
apps on screen at once and Android only supporting special, rare floating apps for multitasking, Windows 8.1 offers a much more powerful tablet interface than its competitors.
The OS brings Bluetooth LE support and the ability to snap 3 or 4
apps on the screen at the same time.
But if you like the idea of taking notes on your slate and running multiple
apps on the screen at once, the Galaxy Note 10.1 is an able multitasker.
Features like Smart Stay (keeping the screen on when the user is looking at it) and Multi Window (for having two
apps on the screen at once) are present as well.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 goes even further with Multi Window, allowing users to view multiple
apps on the screen at once and resize the app icons.
While it's not going to multitask with two
apps on the screen at the same time, it is quite capable of performing some of the everyday tasks you'd normally use a laptop or desktop PC to perform.

Both Galaxy Tab S2 models will have a fingerprint scanner, and a way to run two
apps on the screen at the same time.

screen and purchase magazines and newspapers!
They have a wishlist

app for Mac, but that wishlist doesn't exist
on any other platform I know of (iOS, their main website, and their online eReader - site), and you can only add books to it from the main

at the page of a specific book.
I'm sure that people reading these new e-Readers would quickly get frustrated
at trying to use
apps on a mono
screen that they'll quickly reach for their smartphone to get the richer experience (the vast majority of Android
apps are designed to be used in colour — similarities of tonality will quickly make
apps harder to use).
