in conjunction with the museums, altering the
architecture of the
exhibition spaces and merging his works with pieces
in the permanent collections of the institutions
in order to create a unique and dynamic viewing experience.
Presented through all of MUMA's recently designed galleries, the inaugural
exhibition sees artists explore performative, media and event cultures, and the post-industrial
architecture of the urban fringe, whilst others work with sound, light, sculpture, film, and painting
in its diverse and expanded forms, offering a multi-sensory register of art and everyday life, from complex cultural perspectives.
Seven key photographs are displayed within a system of eleven freestanding wall works that intervene
in the
architecture of the
exhibition space, underscoring Williams's self - described interest
in establishing a more «mobile» position as an artist, alternately acting as «camera operator, picture editor,
exhibition designer, graphic designer.»
Each artist combines notions inherent
in the practices of art and
architecture,
in an experimental
exhibition that includes site - specific installation, sculpture, painting, photography and video to create five very different and exciting works.
Curated by Axel Vervoordt and Daniela Ferretti and located
in the imposing Palazzo Fortuny, the
exhibition explores the omnipresence of universal proportions
in art, science, music and
architecture.
The
exhibition, the artist's first solo show of paintings
in New York
in six years, continues to reveal Taaffe as a philosopher of painting, offering compelling meditations on art and culture, both contemporary and historical, and visual ruminations on the interrelated families of forms and images
in art,
architecture, and archaeology.

Christopher Grimes Gallery is pleased announce its forthcoming
exhibition Kaleidoscope: abstraction

For the
exhibition,
architecture students made models of 70 of the buildings covered
in the show and placed them directly onto the model to give viewers an idea of how different the skyline would've looked if they'd been built.

Architecture of Life, the inaugural
exhibition in BAMPFA's landmark new building, explores the ways that
architecture — as concept, metaphor, and practice — illuminates various aspects of life experience: the nature of the self and psyche, the fundamental structures of reality, and the power of the imagination to reshape our world.

Architecture Biennial, a citywide
architecture and design
exhibition.
In addition to mounting contemporary art
exhibitions, the new gallery will also host an avant - garde residency program that will invite guests to interact with the unique
architecture.
The artists
in the
exhibition inflect Modernist forms with contemporary perspectives on intimate subjects including: the poetics of domestic
architecture, the pertinence of ancient myth, and the solipsism of art history.

After all, the last couple of years have seen three major
exhibitions in London art museums that have focused on
architecture («Sensing Spaces» at the RA, «Ruin Lust» at Tate Britain, «Constructing Worlds» at the Barbican), and smaller shows regularly claim some sort of interrogative capacity for exploring the interaction between these two broad categories of material culture.
The Arts on Prescription
exhibition includes work on the theme of the
architecture of Milton Keynes, realised
in relief printing, and street scenes and roundabouts painted with acrylics.
In seven floors of striking
architecture Bildmuseet shows

The International Center for Photography is currently presenting a large
exhibition of Latin American photography, the Museum of Modern Art has devoted its main
exhibition space to Brazil's Lygia Clark, and the Bronx Museum of the Arts is looking at the legacy of modernist
architecture in Latin American cities.
Her first solo
exhibition ever to take place
in a museum will consist of large - scale, multi-media installations and tableaus devoted to the impact of her design approach on the aesthetics, material and form of fashion and product design,
architecture and garden art.

Lemonier co-curated the

in the architectural landscape: «He is one of the only practitioners who thinks of

exhibition will also feature interactive sound
architecture that inspires the way we use music and creativity
in our daily environments.
Music, dance, poetry, painting, graphics, animation, robotics and

in this computer arts
exhibition.
The interaction between these works and their spatial implementation plays a key role
in the
exhibition, addressing Raven Row's distinct
architecture, and the potential for dialogue across different conceptual frameworks.
