The Place Is Here brings together around 100 works by over 30 artists and collectives spanning painting, sculpture, installation, photography, video and
archival displays from the 1980s, exploring this pivotal decade for British culture and politics.

Warhol: Unidentified is on view in the CCS Bard Collection Teaching Gallery in

A small show called «The ABCDs of Sol LeWitt» at the Williams College Museum of Art, near Mass MoCA, zeroes in on that watershed 1960s moment with

displayed here in the pullout drawers of chests that are scattered throughout — is in itself significant but defeating.
The very first is
displayed here lying flat on its back, so that the boxy canvas also reminds us of
archival storage units and buried time capsules.
In the upstairs part of the house, the museum
displays Magritte's paintings and
archival materials and mounts rotating exhibitions of likeminded artists.
Alongside Dürer's Melencolia I this exhibition will

The explores the development of the British School of Landscape Painting through the
display of 120 works of art, comprising paintings, prints, books and
archival material.
Exploring the Wakefield Permanent Art Collection and
archival material relating to Henry Moore as part of his initial archive research, Des Hughes will focus on the recent removal of Henry Moor's bronze sculpture, Draped Reclining Figure (1979) from public
display in Castleford as an unlikely alternative route into exploring the work of Henry Moore and British Modernism.
At the core of the exhibition are a selection of paintings by Francis Bacon set against some unfinished works by the artist - on
display in Italy for the very first time - and a selection of photographic and
archival material from the artist's studio, presented thanks to a collaboration with the Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane.
Simultaneously with the work of artists will be on
display and a small part of
archival and documentary material with photos of the marine life of Patmos, from major monuments and ceremonies of island associated with water as well as images and texts associated with the collection, the management and the consumption of water in Patmos in the past and the present.
