Rick the more i think about it we
are to live as overcomers not strugglers since the day i decided to turn away from the sin that
was controlling my life i never fell back into
old sinful patterns not once,
was i tempted many many times. The Lord will work in our lives one area at a time he needs us to give him full control so if an area
is taking control we do need to hand it to him so he can change us.How do we do it immediately we say Lord you know i
am weak but in you i
am strong i leaned on him and overcame time and time again. We all have areas of weakness that we struggle in so do nt feel bad.Struggling
is us trying to do it in our own strength before this process i
was so stubborn i refused to let God help me i wanted to do it in my own strength and so it
was a roller coaster ride in my christian walk if the day went
well i
was on a high if it did nt i would would
be down. Not any more now when things do nt go to plan i still thank the Lord and when it goes
well i thank the Lord.Because i know that all things work
for good to those who love the Lord. The main area he
is wanting
is our hearts he wants all our heart not only some until we come to that
place we will continue to struggle in our faith. The only reason to tell you this
is not to boast because of what i have done in myself because i have nothing to boast about but if i did i would brag that Christ has empowered me by his holy spirit to
be an overcomer just as he would want you to
be.As Christians we
are all called to
be overcomers more than conquerers.Make a decision today to turn all your hearts to the Lord to acknowledge the areas you
are holding onto that
are controlling your flesh life hand them to the Lord and walk according to the spirit and not the flesh and he will give you the victory. That can
be a reality starting today merry christmas everyone and may the new year
be an exciting one as we put all our trust in Christ our Lord and savior.Brentnz

Our ambition
is for Montecristo to
be the
best place in Las Vegas to smoke a cigar with a drink, while watching a stirring sporting event or, by special arrangement, as part of a gourmet meal from
Old Homestead, Nobu or Restaurant Guy Savoy.
Although I pine
for the
good old 1st
place days I have to acknowledge that the 4th
place model
is still a pretty
good fit.
The goal
for the 24 - year
old now, as
well as helping Arsenal to finish this campaign as strongly as possible and secure a
place at Europe's top table next time,
is to get match sharp and find some form ahead of Euro 2016, a tournament that Wilshere played a big part in getting England to, with Man of the Match awards in six out of the seven qualifying games he played.
I don't support players I support the team... And I certainly don't support overpaid mediocrities just, coz they wear the arsenal kit but who can't deliver us more than third or fourth
place... That said coquellin
is a
good player with potential to improve what we need now
is an accomplished DM from whom he can learn... Missed kondogbia who
is a
better player and younger which might have
been a problem... Same goes
for Carvalho... Sven bender probably
best around
for us if not the pole... Both
older more experienced more rounded footballers and wiser than coquellin... sadly wenger doesn't any longer have the brain or brawn to improve this team....
we
were awful
for 60 mins and fortunate to
be just one down and the
good... we took a point from
being decent
for 30 mins all but securing third
place... As
for realism it
's simple... There
is no way a real arsenal fan could watch that performance and
be confident that we will
be challenging
for title in 12 months time... So if that
is what we want the realist fan asks what needs to change... and if we rule out the first
best option... which as a realist I do... to get rid of wenger... then in our second
best world it
's a matter of where we need to strengthen... Sadly at the point realism breaks down because in the absence of first
best option we
are in the fantasy world of the cheese eating surrender monkey where 11 yr
olds are zee future of zee club
you said the same thing after this event in 2014... and again in 2015... then last year we did nt actually win anything but we added xhaka so lets get behind the team like wat a «true» fan does... unlike others on this site who do nt really know anything about footie like me even though ive
been wrong about our chances
for the last 10 seasons it do nt matter coz i
'm a real fan and wenger
is a great bloke who knows about footie whereas all these negative fans do nt know nuffin... its like listening to some demented uncle every xmas droning on about how things
were better in the
old days when everyone knew their
place....
The simple question
is are we happy with scrambling
for 4th
place and last 16 of cl... If yes then wenger may
well be your man if not then he needs to go... What Ramsey did as a 17 yr
old is irrelevant to answering this question....
It
's unclear as to how this
is allowed as it sounds a lot like tampering to us, but Mourinho
is reportedly said to have tried to convince Neymar how United
is the
best place for his career, how he will improve under his management and the crucial role he will play
for him at
Old Trafford, all as per the report from Sport.
The France international
is not having the
best of times at
Old Trafford at the moment, looking under - confident and out of
place in Mourinho's squad
for a variety of reasons.
The Chilean may
well be forced to fight
for his
place with the arrival of Draxler, who would put pressure on the 29 year -
old's importance in the side.
I can't believe that you could lose the likes of Sanchez and Oxlade - Chamberlain
for nothing, that
's insane negligence. With 3 or 4 quality additions Arsenal could
be serious contenders but Wenger
's «4th
place is a trophy» mentality
is happily shared by a board just wanting profits.Winning the cup
is great but Arsenal should
be in the title mix right into May rather than the annual implosion come March. The
old Fergie / Wenger title battles
were the
best back in the day, the fans deserve far more than you
're getting recently.
This
is an incredibly difficult question to answer
for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it
's former self, only to
be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions
are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone
for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud
was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances
was relatively low (
better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin
's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which
was obvious to Wenger because there
was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as
for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played
for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that
being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka
is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit
better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as
for Coq, he
is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let
's face it Wenger
was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this
was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our
old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he
's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team
's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player
was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who
are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would
be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad
for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that
is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there
is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he
's lack of mobility
is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would
be our
best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a
place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other
was just sold to Juve... man, this
is theraputic because following this team
is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Despite that, the 26 - year -
old is still looking to make it to F1 and thinks the series he
's in now
is the
best place for him to progress.
i
'm old enough to recall a 17 year
old Anelka joined arsenal and when he did he hit the ground running, speed, touch and end product — afc
is not the
place for players who
are [* almost talented], its a club renowned
for higher skilled and talented players that
are known to
be a threat, ones with end product — @Pires,
for you mediocrity dressed in an arsenal shirt may
well be acceptable?
The pros,
for their part, missed a
good part of the charm of
Old Mexico — as they so often miss the charm of the
places they happen to
be invading
for money.
He did wonders in the past, won trophies with the instrumental assistance of Dein, guided Arsenal through a tough financial period... but four season have passed where we have had finances to bring in the
best but yet all we have witnessed
are two F.A cups and the same
old predictable Arsenal caving in and scraping
for a fourth
place league finish and a CL cameo appearance.
The 23 - year
old Gooner has just capped a very
good season on loan with West Ham by
being the
best player
for England in the under 21 Euro championships, but that does not appear to
be enough to get Jenkinson what he wants; a
place in the Arsenal first team.
In turn, Man Utd
are seemingly looking in the right
places even though it will
be a major setback
for Jose Mourinho and supporters to see De Gea leave, but if he
's keen on a return to Spain, then surely they
're better off bringing in a replacement who wants to
be at
Old Trafford
for the long run.
It
's well documented that the 30 - year -
old playmaker, who spent 5 years at Liverpool, still holds a
place in his heart
for the Anfield faithful and reportedly persuaded teammate Nuri Sahin to reject Arsenal and join the Reds over the summer.
With Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez the only senior recognised strikers left at the club following the departures of Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao earlier in the summer, van Gaal hinted that a deal
for an unnamed striker
was in
place [via Guardian Sport] and it now seems he may
well have a battle on his hands to bring Llorente to
Old Trafford.
Competition
for places at Liverpool
is tough, with Luis Alberto, Raheem Sterling and Jordan Ibe all above the 24 - year
old in the pecking order at the club, it would
be in both parties
best interest if he seeks pastures new.
Must
be a joke; should
be ashamed to even mention this game again... I need a
good drink after what i read and shut my computer... Someone said we should not complain as Chelsea flopped 2 years ago... So, yeah, we should as
well and accuse referrees... I
'm out guys... The season
is over, what we fighting
for, 6 to 12
place... Liverpool can't finish behind us, we have no consistency nor game, just pass the ball like academy 6 year
old do, passing the ball... Instead to put the damn ball behind the net, contrrol the ball and never score means no control of the game nor the ball, it should
be behind frekin net...
The Portuguese manager knows how to get the
best from the player and there
is a
place for the 28 - year -
old in the current system at Old Traffo

Alexander - Arnold has
been in
good form this season, making 27 appearances
for Liverpool, and Klopp believes there may
be a
place for the 19 - year -
old in Russia this summer.
The 25 - year
old still has a long way to go this season but should he stay fit
for a sustained period and replicate his
good form, there
is no reason why he can not nail down a
place in the starting lineup as Mourinho clearly prefers him to his international teammate Chris Smalling, at this point in time.
The only Arsenal fan with a twisted mind
is yourself and others like you, loyalty to a club
is old news and past tense, exactly why Clichy and Nasri left
for Citeh, it,
s the weekly pay cheque that makes the difference, if Chelsea, Ci teh or Real Madrid offer van Persie a
better weekly wage so
be it as his manager Arsene Wenger has shown he can not take the club any further than a mediocre 3rd
place and only one point ahead of Spuds, football in 2012
is big bu siness, get with the times or go away mister, your child ish unalytical mind won, t pay Robin,
s monthly bils etc..?
If he can persuade Pogba that
Old Trafford
is the
best place for him, then the player won't have to worry about
being overlooked
for a starting spot in favour of a right - back again.
