This charming eat - in
area feels lively with hits of botanical prints.
Unfortunately much of the level geometry is the same as the 3DS original, but improvements in lighting and foliage help make
the areas feel livelier.

The regions after Kanto have
felt more
livelier through their routes, npcs and
areas.
The Tower, where you navigate the
area in third person, just doesn't
feel any where near as
lively as something you would expect in MMORPGs.
While Disgaea 2 PC had
lively character animations and spritework, one thing I
felt that the game lacked was the sense of the maps
feeling like real places that a character would actually go to, since some of those maps lacked any sort of colorful «border» to indicate that they were in an enclosed
area, which meant that some levels simply
felt as if they were floating in space.
These are small changes, but they go a long way towards making this important
area of the system
feel more
lively and dynamic.
