Army green is still
one of my go - to's for spring.
One look at Riley should convince you that
army green should be added to your neutrals rotation — it looks great in a monochromatic ensemble like her Sandro sweater and matching peacoat, and mixes gorgeously with both rich tan (her mini bag) and black (like her Wolford tights and booties).
I've been looking for an
army green coat for some time and never really took the plunge to get
one until now.
In terms of colors,
army green is
one of the biggest for the months ahead.
One of the first things that everyone wants to know in approaching a new season is what are key colors: for NM, it's about full - bodied reds that run the spectrum of this fabulous hue; winter white that for many has made this glorious non-color a year - round favorite and
army green / olive, a color that is showing up everywhere for the gals and the guys as we transition into Fall 2015.
While we didn't get out of the trucks during our game drives, I will say that the
one time I wore white jeans they were covered in dust and had to be laundered immediately, so it's worth considering neutral colors that won't show every speck of dirt, whether it's leather pants or a pair of
army green skinny jeans (which I ordered but didn't arrive in time for our trip, grrr!).
The bright
green leather jacket I'm wearing today is
one of those incredible purchases that are almost too good to be true — I picked it up for a steal at a Salvation
Army shop in Bergen and knew I would get lots of wear out of it for ever and ever.
