The Livingston County judge who barred the media from his courtroom during a criminal
arraignment back in December has agreed he won't seek re-election in New York again.

Walker ignored questions when arriving at the courthouse at 9 a.m. Thursday, and again after a noon
arraignment at which U.S. Magistrate Judge Anne Shields released him on a $ 200,000 bond that his wife signed and
backed up with their home.
It appears that prosecutors have never made a criminal case under this section of state election law, a violation of which would be a felony: Records going
back to 1999 show no arrests or
arraignments on the charge, according to the State Division of Criminal Justice Services.
