The winner of Britain's most prestigious annual arts award — The Turner Prize — will be announced this evening, marking the first year the under - 50 age limit has been lifted.
Even in this early stage of her career Frömel received significant commissions from Bord Fáilte (1960) and the Arts Council (1962), and an award from Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (1962).

This month, she is being honored at the Aurora Picture Show Award and Gala, an evening focused on honoring an artist who has exhibited extraordinary originality in the field of moving image art.
