Article 38
of the country's interim constitution says that «no person shall be coerced to adopt such
faith that he / she
does not believe in, nor to practise rites or services to which he / she
does not voluntarily consent».
This is certainly an interesting
article which raises a legitimate question for those
of faith as well as for those without any specific spiritual belief system:

of how Pres Obama, claiming he is a christian, is mocking the

It can readily be seen that there are strong reasons for the fact that Bultmann's
article on
Faith, in Kittel's TWNT, in many ways a classic,
did not include a discussion
of the teaching
of Jesus.
The Saxon prophet summed it up in a piece called The Keys (1530): «We know pretty well that the Romans

Philipp Melancthon's profession that «the churches among us
do not dissent from the catholic church in any
article of faith» is understood to be an accurate assessment
of the intentions
of the historic Lutheran church.
People just usually don't want to make waves over the other suspect
articles of faith, because they fear they will lose the support
of the group and that is a terrifying thought for many.

of ordinary people.»
They
do a good job
of bringing people to Christ and teaching them the implications
of the second
article of the Christian
faith.
I read your
articles, «Just the Gospel P's» and «The Gospel is More Than «
Faith Alone in Christ Alone»» on your site and I
did not see any works cited in either that supported your position on the usage
of the term «the gospel».
It means (to borrow Bonhoeffer's phrase) that black Christians must now «come
of age,» must realize that the Baptist
Articles of Faith and other such statements have nothing to
do with the definition
of the black church.
There is lots
of debate in the commentaries and scholarly
articles about whether it was really the apostles who doubted or someone else, and whether or not they really doubted, or it was just an inquisitive
faith, or maybe they didn't really doubt Jesus, but they doubted that this person who appeared to them this time was really Jesus, and on and on it goes.
