The only
rebuttal to this that I have found from anti-bedsharers comes from a quote in an
article on SIDS and weather, done by researchers in Taiwan, and it is

I'll tend to use points raised in the
article as a jumping off point for general musings, rather than a detailed
rebuttal since I haven't read the book that Sheehan is discussing.
Some of the arguments you raised here were put forth in the skepticalscience
article as well
as a well thought out
rebuttal on American Thinker toward the end of the comments (right above where you recently commented).
While we don't necessarily share the Senator's view of the
article on the whole (we felt it provided a relatively balanced discussion of the details and conclusions of the study in question), we do find some concern in the fact that the views of Myron Ebell (who actually works for the «Competitive Enterprise Institute», and not the more venerable «American Enterprise Institute» referred to by the Senator), were offered
as a
rebuttal to the conclusions of a team of respected scientists.
I know that it would be quite a burden to ensure that every WUWT
article has a
rebuttal here (or somewhere linked)
as that is quite a prolific site but I think it should be done.
