A public seminar exploring a range of strategies engaged in by
artists and curators in order to activate and operate within public realm spaces.
By mixing it up, local artists make connections with
artists and curators from all over the world, and the resulting dialogue and relationships are expansive.
How would you describe the relationship
between artist and curator in this project, where the idea of «selection» is complementary to the value of «inclusion»?
As an experimental project space we invite
artists and curators working in different disciplines on a regular basis and aim to function as a platform for collaboration and exchange.
Together they curated a series of exhibitions and publications that are still regarded as having seminal importance for
young artists and curators.
We
advise artists and curators to visit the gallery space before submitting a proposal to ensure awareness of the size of space the work must fill.
Our arts and public programs demonstrate the role
artists and curators play in our communities by connecting audiences to creative practices, ideas, art forms, and each other.
