The CAFA Museum will present the works of 17 artists in the most extensive display in the group; the Red Brick Art Museum will focus on abstract art from the Germany's post-war era; the Minsheng Art Museum will host German contemporary photography, focusing on works from the Becher School in Dusseldorf, but also by Katharina Sieverding and Andreas Mühe; the Today Art Museum will present video and media art; the White Box Art Center will show select examples of very recent art; and the Yuan Art Museum will juxtapose works by teachers with those of their art students.

The two artists (who bonded over their interest in the moving image) shared a desire to merge the black box screening experience with the white - cube gallery setting.
On Wednesday night, the artist introduces some new items to his ironic body of work: a tapestry inspired by violent coded messages from Mexican gangs and a series of cut paper diorama boxes with drug symbolism in a traditional blue and white color scheme.

Also in April, Misa Shin Gallery's presentation of works by Yutaka Matsuzawa — many taken from the editioned Yutaka Matsuzawa ψ Box (1983), among them the imaginary Nine Meditations Chamber (1977), combining text instructions with blank sheets of white paper arranged on the floor — provided a window onto one of Japan's early conceptual artists.
The original 1996 black and white prints featuring full - page portraits and trademark vibrant red thought boxes that Barbara Kruger used for a project in Dazed & Confused magazine will be put on view in a new order revisited by the artist.
