There's a bit of hacking going on in the Wii mode of the Wii U, but I haven't heard anything about opening up Pro Controllers for use
as classic controllers (Nintendo's just now letting us remap buttons in VC games, so they have a bit of a hardcore purist thing going on, for better or worse).
So, Brawl on Wii U, you can only use the Wiimotes, so those or the classic controllers, but there's adaptors out that lets you use GameCube controllers
as classic controllers, I'd imagine that it would be best for Brawl.
These controllers will plug into Wii Remotes, and can likewise be used
as Classic Controllers for Wii and Wii Virtual Console downloads.
Does this work
as a classic controller though?
Put the Wii mote + nunchuck almost killed me, i had a white wii so i could play brawl, with GC controller, but then it died so i bough a black one but it did not have GC controller ports so i have had to play with classic controller, i guess i will have to get used to the pro controller, or just mod my wii mote, so that i can use my GC controller
as a classic controller, works fine with a NES controller, so il perhaps give it a try.

One word of caution / advice: you MUST play the game with analog

To be fair, the game IS an excellent attempt at a polished addition to a now tiresome franchise, if you loved the Ridley Scott and James Camerons heralded Alien films, and like me, consider Predator
as a must - have
classic in the DVD collection, you won't put down the
controller.

controllers would be supported so would these.
If Nintendo actually puts GC games on the VC, I would think so,

as they continue to support

The imagery, much in the Sega tradition, is heavily impacted upon by Japanese gaming and you will recognise the screen layout and battle effects from many of the

classic console games on your PC pretty well with a keyboard or a generic Xbox control, the best strategy is to use a
