We see the release of blockbuster games such
as Killzone 2 for the PS3 to the not - so - impressive Lost in Blue...
The goa is obviously to start a series that will stretch out as least as long
as Killzone did.
It wasn't a hard decision making the hundred mile plus journey down south considering I'd be getting my hands on the likes of Sony's new motion controller, Move and a slew of upcoming titles such
as Killzone 3, Gran Turismo 5 and MotorStorm: Apocalypse.
Unfortunately, some games, such
as Killzone 3, do not have this kind of layout.
First party games such
as Killzone Shadow Fall use the pad for control of the OWL Drone while Infamous Second Son utilises it as a finger print scanner.
Although there were many titles offside the big first party games such
as Killzone and Infamous, there were many updates on all these too.
As Killzone 3 is PlayStation Move compatible, this should no longer be an issue — unless you have slow wrists, that is.
With the combination of huge blockbusters such
as Killzone Shadow Fall, Destiny, FIFA, Watchdogs and Call of Duty Ghosts, alongside a vast array of Indie titles such as Transistor, The Witness, Rogue Legacy and Hotline Miami 2, PS4 promises to be the best place to play.
Horizon: Zero Dawn Impresses While being known
as the Killzone studio, Guerrilla Games took to the stage this year to introduce something completely different.
This time around there isn't a problem
as Killzone 3 looks about as good as a game can look while still functioning.
Killzone 2 is held in high esteem by loyal fans
as the Killzone game with the best multiplayer component.
That being said, Killzone Mercenary's controls aren't quite as heavy
as Killzone 2 as the game feels more like Killzone 3 with a lighter, quicker character.
After playing Titanfall for a while and then going back to a more traditional shooter such
as Killzone: Shadow Fall, Call of Duty or even Battlefield, the lack of speed and ability to freely move anywhere on a map is quite noticeable.
There are still good titles coming to the portable such
as Killzone: Mercenary, Disgaea 4: Return, Rayman Legends, Telltale Games» The Walking Dead and God Eater 2 (if you care to import).
It was announced to be in development since release of the PlayStation Vita under the name Killzone: Vita (Obviously) and it will now officially be known
as Killzone: Mercenary.
Sure the game isn't as graphically jaw dropping
as Killzone: Shadow Fall, but with action this fast, I don't think most players will notice.
Killzone: Liberation for PSP, on the other hand, was an amazing action experience that I so desperately wanted to see super-sized to play with the big boys in HD land
as Killzone 2.
Gears of War 2, Banjo Kazooie 3 and Jade Empire 2 could blow us all away and have just as much chance
as Killzone 2 and Resistance 2.
No other PS4 game looks as good
as Killzone: Shadow Fall so far — not even close.
It was built on the same powerful engine
as Killzone 3, and it enhances the familiar twin - stick FPS control scheme with touch pad functionality for interesting new gameplay possibilities.

What helped the team in accomplishing all of this, is that they had a PS4 engine and accumulated experience with
Killzone: Shadowfall
as a launch title.
As someone who didn't much care for the
Killzone series, Guerrilla Games blew my expectations out of the water.
With a lack of basic features like voice chat and other odd omissions such
as clan support, something that has been requested since the release of
Killzone 3, only a few dedicated players will stick around for now, and player numbers have already dwindled significantly.
Guerilla Games have promised free downloadable content such
as extra maps and plan to add features like voice chat and clan support later, but we are sceptical
as to how far these additions will go in ensuring that
Killzone: Shadow Fall becomes anything more than what is now, a rather hollow, run of the mill shooter.
As such, this has caused many fans to question what this means for the future of
Killzone and whether or not we'll see more of these games.
And while some people grumbled about a lack of fresh content, there were some fantastic - looking sequels on show, such
as Zelda: Twilight Princess,
Killzone 2, Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, Call of Duty 2, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

One year later, Guerrilla Games would not only revive interest in
Killzone as a series, but would become the talk of the gaming world.
The next two sequels from the studio would have a focus on introducing new technology to gamers,
as 2011's
Killzone 3 was the poster child for PlayStation Move and 3D gaming, and 2014's
Killzone Shadow Fall was the PlayStation 4 launch title.
Guerrilla had essentially become the «

Crysis 1 was great, but crytek strayed too far from what made it amazing and instead chose to go alien route - except it pales in comparison to other games such
