I recommend only using chicken broth to mash with
yuca, unless you are serving it
as a side dish with beef.
Tapioca flour is a little bit different than
yuca as tapioca is the starch.
I use frozen to make fries and
yuca hash all the time and when I have to use a fresh one it's never
as good.
Yuca is an extensively grown tropical vegetable that has other common names, such
as cassava, manioc, and tapioca.
Make sure to mash your
yuca while it's hot, because
as it cools it becomes like more glue - like and is very tough to work with!

Definitely don't substitute mashed sweet potato or
