As for the Oasis being the best overall
eReader, i'd have to disagree.
Personally, and this is just me, an
ereader's number one draw is the reading, and
for this open system, it is the option to use proprietary
ereaders such
as Kindle and Kobo side - by - side.
Since Overdrive's pricing structure is very a la carte, and production would not generate the same economies of scale
as the Kindle, Nook, etc., a system
for ereader lending would be just another exorbitant expense.
