vegan options such
as Austin style avocado and roasted cauliflower.
This could very well be called a
vegan chicken sandwich or
vegan egg salad sandwich
as well since it could visually pass for those sandwiches too.
For those
vegans and vegetarians amongst us, it's also very good without the
chicken and could easily be added to your recipe file
as well.

as I say you get versions with
chicken, this one is
vegan and gluten free so nearly everyone can enjoy.
I use this

as a side dish with roast
chicken or even fish.
My husband is from Zambia and his Mum used to make this soup (but with

vegan and you can easily substitute the
chicken with your favorite veggies or meat alternative.
Ingredients can include

as good with

They work
as a binder, so you could replace with flaxseeds, or if you're not

It works
as a delicious side or holds its own
as with the addition of
chicken, prawn or avocado and extra coconut chunks for a
vegan option.
The menu features meats including traditional beef,
chicken and turkey; exotic options such
as elk, bison, wild boar and duck, while sweet potato & wild rice and black bean burgers are available for vegetarian and
vegan guests.
This would be awesome with
chicken broth
as the base; I'm not
vegan either so will give that a go
The TVP makes for a great meat substitute for vegetarian and
vegan tacos,
as it has a texture similar to shredded
chicken when cooked and,
as an added bonus, it takes just a few minutes to prepare and is a bargain at the grocery store.
Beans and lentils are no longer thought of
as just for vegetarians and
vegans, they are a great protein choice
as an alternative to the standard
chicken, beef or pork at meals.
While it's lauded
as a superior to other grains with respect to its protein content, and it can serve
as a vegetarian - or
vegan - friendly source of protein in your diet, quinoa is not equivalent to
chicken in terms of nutritional value.
