There are also some user - facing additions such
as adaptive notification dots, wider support for picture - in - picture mode, over 60 new emoji, a new look for media notifications and the quick settings menu, a redesigned settings menu,

It is worth noting that this will not work for all apps,
as a number of Google apps use
Adaptive icons that are their traditional logo on a white background.
It also has standard Oreo features such

Android app shortcuts have been implemented on the Samsung launcher,

Nova Launcher allows you to alter many aspects of your Android phones home screen, such
as the app drawer, folders, dock, and their aesthetic, and has received a number of Android 8.1 Oreo features lately, including
adaptive icons and the custom dock widget.
Background location and execution limits are present
as well in Android 8.0 «Oreo,» along with an accessibility volume and button,

This of course means you get all of the improvements of the Oreo update such

icons the way you want.
