In its survey, WalletHub also singled out the Lufthansa credit card
as the best for

A note about their
miles: They're not really «

at 1 % to a cash statement credit you can use to reimburse yourself for travel purchases you've charged to the card.
United
Airlines and BP have joined forces so that BP Driver Rewards and United MileagePlus members can earn up to triple
miles on gas purchases,

And don't just look
at the
airline miles, there are probably other benefits the card gives you

The reason why I like Starpoints quite
as much
as I do is because they're so incredibly versatile — they can be transferred into to just about every major
airline rewards program out there (35 in total) and, in most cases, they transfer over
at a ratio of 1 Starpoint to 1
airline mile.
Clearly the best return is
airline miles, assuming you value them
at 2 cents each
as I do.
The reason why Marriott Flight and Hotel packages are often cited
as a great use of Marriott Rewards points is because, essentially, they allow you to purchase
airline miles at a ratio of 1 Marriott Rewards point to 1
airline mile / point... and that's a very good exchange rate.
I wanted to burn through my American
Airlines miles if
at all possible
as they're rapidly becoming harder to use and I don't want to sit on a large AAdvantage
Miles balance any longer than I have to.
Remember to use American
Airlines miles for these awards (if
at all possible)
as you'll incur horrendous surcharges if you use your Avios balance.
The booking class shown on the ticket may not be the same
as that class used to count
miles at partner and Star Alliance
airlines.
With access across all major
airlines, Barbados is easily one of the simplest destinations to reach,
as well
as one of the largest,
at roughly 166 square

mile so logic would dictate that I declare this offer to be a bad idea — and for a lot of people it is — but, if you live in Europe (or if you're in a position to start your travel in Europe), there's a way to get some great value out this sale —
as long
as you're able to book before 22 March 2016 (when the AAdvantage award charts change).
As I mentioned right
at the beginning, you can use Singapore
Airlines KrisFlyer
Miles on SilkAir and, while I wouldn't necessarily choose to use these
miles on short flights, on longer flights they could be good value.
Many award tickets, such
as flights to Europe, are on par with those of other competing
airlines, with economy tickets starting
at 60,000
miles roundtrip plus taxes and fees.
