I love this recipe, I used soy
milk instead of
almond as didn't have any in, thank you for my gym fit breakfast, now off I go to the gym.
It will separate slightly in the fridge
as it doesn't contain the emulsifiers that you get in shop bought
almond milk.
By this I mean sometimes i'd love to take out the smoothie with me but don't know how long
as some contains
almond milk / butter.
I tried a tasty variation of this today
as I didn't have any
almond milk so I used oat
milk and the remnants of a can of coconut
milk which had a lot of lumpy, creamy bits.

almond milk — if I don't make it myself, I would recommend the Rude Health one,
as lots of others are full of chemicals or far from natural flavourings!
I
did substiute the
Almond milk for coconut
milk and used organic raw honey instead of date syrup
as i
did nt have the other ingredients in.
I have just cooked the blueberry muffins
as you say they are like a liquid batter but they haven't turned into muffins they are just blueberry slop in bottom of muffin tins.I don't see how these can turn into muffins when they are just pure liquid and there is nothing in the recipe to bind them together.The only different ingredient I used was rice
milk as didn't have
almond milk and actually put less maple syrup in
as didn't have full amount so the recipe should have been even runnier.Am feeling a bit frustrated
as the ingredients aren't cheap.
Tell them why you would love them to change their
almond milk as I'm quite positive they don't want to be serving you something that will affect your health.

do nt have this special flour, So I will sub it

I didn't use Aloha packet and probiotic powder either, and
as an
almond milk I blended half cup of
almonds with one cup of water... it is so creamy and thick, thank you so much:)
I've also made this with
almond milk, but didn't care for the flavor
as much.
That being said, this
almond milk doesn't keep
as long, so the boxed stuff will still be nice to have on hand.
I feel like I'm being a bit deceiving
as I
did use a blender to make this
almond milk, but instead of a full sized blender I used an immersion blender!
I wonder if the coconut
milk makes it too sweet - I don't think the
almond milk does that, I've never thought of the sauce
as «sweet».

as Vitamix or Blendtec, start by blending the hard ingredients (i.e.
almonds, oats, and spinach) with the
almond milk to ensure they are thoroughly blended.

as your seemed so much yellower than mine... And didn't realize the
almond milk I bought was sweetened but honestly it was super!!!

Don't get me wrong — I have to test taste and see if they're even «pass - off - able» (my new word) to my family and maybe on occasion, I'll eat a cookie with
almond milk or coffee but I

If you are and want a natural way to up the protein in your smoothie, then I suggest adding some
almond butter and upping the amount of
almond milk so it doesn't end up
as thick
as pudding.
I followed the exact same method
as I
do in my homemade
almond milk, but I used pecans in place of the
almonds and maple syrup instead of honey (just because I'm not eating honey at the moment).
If you don't have half a cup, fill up
as much
as you can with the coconut liquid and then add water or
almond milk to compensate the rest of the way.

as for missing out on calcium, never fear — Asians don't drink much
milk but get less osteoporosis than we
do, thanks to a diet richer in leafy greens and nuts (especially
