We've been playing around with lots of variations of these recently,

I'm not sure frozen berries will work
as they'll let out too much water but pieces of dried
apricots or dates would be delicious!
Sadly I'm not sure that the switch would work
as Turkish
apricots aren't
as sticky and the stickiness of the dates is what holds the balls together, although I could be wrong and it may work!

On every corner you see piles of the best dried fruit — my favourite being the dates,

as well
as more nuts than you can possibly image, heaps of insanely colourful, totally exotic herbs and spices, brilliant dried tea mixes, awesome honey and nut based bars (I'm obsessed) and the world's best, most freshest juices — pomegranate and orange being my new favourite, possibly the yummiest juice ever.
I have a question about dates,
as I don't particularly enjoy their taste, can I replace them with dry

Deceptive
as it is, it's much better for your health to get those darker brown organic dried
apricots that haven't been processed or tampered with or better still dehydrate your own so you know exactly what in them.
I've also replaced the pears with: - 1 can
apricot halves (sliced), 1 can peach halves (sliced), 300g fresh raspberries, and now I've just made it with 250g fresh cherries (halved and stones removed) each 1, so far, has been just
as nice
as the 1 with the pears
