Towa City is full of baddies and the Hacking Gun thankfully has a bunch of modes that you will unlock
as you progress: The standard assault features break

However, these perks are also dangerous,
as they will keep you from reloading if you know some of these
bullets with extra
damage haven't been used yet.
Michael will have his own version of
Bullet Time to gain the advantage during gunfights, while Trevor will gain double
damage for a brief period of time (and half any incoming
damage as well.
Because of this, I opted for stamina and health - focused upgrades
as well
as some
damage boosting ones — got ta make those
bullets count!
Underwater Battle System — Unique underwater battle with believable effects, such
as reduce in
bullet speed and
damage, muffed gunfire sound, and the risk of draining.
The dodge roll is extremely helpful, allowing players to cross pits and environmental hazards without taking any
damage, but it's also a valuable tool in combat,
as the dodge roll has invulnerability frames at the beginning of the animation, allowing players to dodge waves of
bullets or energy beams if they time it right.
The other perks build on this one to make it far better to spray
as many
bullets as you can, with reduced recoil and increased
damage from the second half of every magazine.
This could happen when a portion of
damage dealt was rejected by the server, since the
bullets that caused it were fired after the point of death for the firing player — the kill card would show the health
as predicted by your game client, rather than the health confirmed by the server.
That highly invariable design plus a glaring lack of invincibility frames after being hit makes hard hitting enemies
as threatening
as the smallest bunch of creeps, since you are unable to tank for more than one second before enemies start pushing you around, the combined might of their meager
damage killing you before you've had a chance to fire a
bullet.
A couple of new grenades have also made their way in this edition
as well, like a grenade that shoots elemental
bullets, or
damages enemies in its range continuously.
While the game can be finished in around 2 hours, there are additional challenges you can try in order to grab some extra avatar stickers, such
as completing a stage using a certain
bullet type or clearing a stage without taking
damage.
Aside from the aforementioned change in environments due to changes in narration the Gunslinger also adds to the visuals by details such
as splatter of blood and mud on screen, heat effect in dessert,
bullet shot rip on screen, leaking barrels due to gunshot
damage and blood splashes indicating death of an enemy.
Sure,
bullet damage is equalized, but characters still retain their weapons and armor,
as well
as all of the abilities they've earned.
Metal Slug and Contra, Battle Garegga and Red Katana: these are games that demonstrate projectiles
as something more creative than (Formula = (health + armor)--(
