cacao butter, they are different
as cocoa butter has been refined.
I'm not sure if this was down to using homemade almond butter (previously used cashew butter), not sifting the raw
cacao or over-mixing in the Magimix — any thoughts on this would be appreciated (although this may be better directed at Madeleine
as the recipe originated from her.)
I'm sure it was just
as delicious with peanut butter too, I think adding extra nut butter and
cacao would take away any left over banana taste if you wanted to try that next time Thank you for sharing your success with it, it's always so nice to hear!
Also, I find 5 or even 6 generous tablespoons of
cacao powder work better than 4
as they make the brownies much more chocolaty and disguise the sweet potato flavour a bit better.
It's totally true that the
cacao has more nutrients raw but it's still better than coco
as it's only cooked for tenet minutes rather than boiled and processed for hours!
Hi Steph, sadly grinding
cacao nibs into powder isn't the same
as using
cacao powder, the flavours would end up pretty different.
In addition to high - end chocolate, we found interesting products like
cacao hair shampoo (dark and light, depending on your hair type),
as well
as chocolate - hazelnut bathfoam.
Of course heating the raw
cacao isn't ideal but it's still better than using cocoa
as it's been way less heated so still retains some goodness
I can't wait to try this, i don't know why I never tried adding
cacao with matcha
as I'm not a fan of it alone.
But am unsure what exact ingredients to get for other recipes
as I have been shopping around but not having any luck finding the right maple syrup, vanilla or
cacao powder and date syrup... what type of maple syrup shall I buy (is organic ok to use?).
