The move to 3D gameplay was a poor decision,
as clumsy controls and camera issues make playing the game more of a pain than it should be.

Moving around the battlefield feels a little
clumsy and cumbersome, like you're throwing a bag of potatoes with a gun around, occasionally leading to some frustration
as it can feel like you're fighting the
controls rather than working in tandem with them.
Every character has only a very limited health pool, medkits are rare and taking cover during encounters is a key aspect,
as both shooting and

I would advise gamers stick to the d - pad
as opposed to using the analogue stick though — it can feel a little
clumsy when making precise manoeuvres, whilst the d - pad offers a better sense of
control.
I wasn't too fond of the
controls in previous versions of the game I've played
as they felt a bit
clumsy at times, but I thought the button mapping was perfect on the Xbox One controller,
as switching between units and projectiles was comfortable and easy and aiming seemingly seemed more precise.
More importantly, bad jumping is incredibly dissonant — if players feel the movement
controls in the first 15 seconds are
clumsy or sluggish, they are likely to extend this prejudice to the game
as a whole.
The main problems with this game is that it's very short, it's not
as punishing
as some of it's kin especially since you're given 3 credits, and the
controls can be a bit
clumsy if you're not used to them, most obvious during the beginning stages with the bird's eye view, though that can be adjusted with the settings.
