And every once in a while (like days when I've already consumed three servings of
peanut butter) I'll replace the
peanut butter with 1 tablespoon of
coconut oil and 3 tablespoons of powdered
peanut butter (which is totally gross
as peanut butter but awesome in blended beverages).

For all those asking re substitutes, for
coconut butter you could use
peanut butter or other nut
butters not actual
butter as the textures and consistency aren't the same!
Anyways, these no bake treats are quite simple to whip up, and it could be reasoned that they are somewhat healthy
as they contain only «good» fats -
coconut and
peanut butter.
I also want to start posting more recipes about making individual ingredients that you can add to your smoothies such
as coconut milk, almond milk,
coconut butter,
peanut butter and healthy sweeteners.
Our new version, made with
coconut whipped cream, natural
peanut butter, agave,
coconut milk and a raw chocolate crust is just
as good — if not better — than the original.
While the concept for
coconut butter is the same
as peanut butter, there are some noticeable differences between them.
I've made this recipe
as white chocolate
peanut butter several times (just replace the macnuts and
coconut with an equal amount of
peanuts).
This
coconut crunch can go almost anywhere: on your
peanut butter toast, in your morning yogurt, or even
as a salad topping alternative to croutons.
You can also use other things to increase moisture, such
as zests (lemon, orange), flavorings, (mint, vanilla) chocolate,
peanut butter, bananas, nuts, or fruits — which all taste amazing in
coconut flour pancakes.
As the
coconut butter is warming, add the following ingredients into a large bowl: the oats, natural
peanut butter, stevia (or other sweetener listed above), and the cocoa powder (or raw cacao powder).
Combine
coconut flour with natural nut
butter (I used
peanut butter so
as to resemble Reese's
as close
as possible) and stevia — the
coconut flour will allow the filling to hold together rather than being a runny, soupy mess.

The sweet potato and chia seeds work together
as the base for this, then it's deliciously topped with
peanut butter and chocolate sauce, toasted
coconut, chopped pecans and chunks of banana.
If you like
peanut butter cups
as much
as I do, you'll be thankful for this recipe which uses healthy ingredients like raw cacao,
coconut oil, powdered
peanut butter and honey.
You can use milk, almond milk, or
coconut milk in place of the water; however, I think this is deliciously creamy
as is on account of the
peanut butter.
It's not
as fudge - y because I used almond milk but instead, I used crunchy
peanut butter so it's fun to bite on tiny bits of
peanuts Gon na have to try again sometime with
coconut milk!
Process
coconut milk, frozen bananas,
peanut butter, vanilla, and remaining 1/8 teaspoon salt in a high - powered blender or food processor on high until very creamy, stopping to scrape down sides and press bananas into blade
as necessary.
Top with your choice of
butter, honey, maple syrup,
peanut butter, almond
butter, walnuts or
coconut flakes — or enjoy them hot out of the pan just
as they are.
I've got my fingers crossed that I will be able to make the homemade
coconut oil chocolate
as much of a success cus I've got a home made
peanut butter cups recipe that I need to justify making more.
This diet is super healthy and does allow plenty of choices: meat, fish, vegetables (peas & green beans are fine), nuts (not
peanuts which are a legume), fruit, «safe starches» (rice pasta, sweet / white potatoes and white rice), wine (which I like but don't drink due to Rx), healthy fat like lard,
butter, cream, olive oil and
coconut oil, dairy, chocolate, eggs, fermented vegetables and some safe sweeteners such
as rice syrup.
Coconut milk, avocado, salad dressing, steak and
peanut butter are off the charts and can't be included in any diet that conforms to the Food Pyramid unless combined with foods very high in carbohydrate and low in fat such
as bread and pasta.
