The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)
as well
as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) both have information on their respective websites for how to recognize
debt relief organizations that are aboveboard and those that are not.
A tipster (send in your tips here) just alerted me to the fact that the State of Colorado now lists the following
debt relief organizations as cancelled or revoked effective July 1, 2012.
