as almost any kind of nuts,

dried fruit can be added.
I made these today but had to substitute a few ingredients
as I didn't have everything — I used

I have a lot of
dried fruit + nuts to use up,
as well
as what I like to call «fixings» (hemp hearts, chia
seeds, etc.), so this recipe worked out well with my let's - clean - out - my - pantry endeavors!
This homemade version yields nearly 8 dozen crackers (less, if you don't cut them
as thinly
as instructed) and is made from things you likely already have hanging around in the cupboard, maybe with the exception of the
dried fruit and / or nuts and
seeds.
As for the sesame
seeds themselves, you can toast them quickly in a
dry pan over low heat until lightly golden to bring out the flavor, or you can use them raw.
