as flying business class from North America to Brazil.

Business Class on Cathay Pacific from Seattle to Hong Kong and Hong Kong to Johannesburg, taking the extreme long way around the globe.

as you know the routes you want to
fly and what days you are free to
fly them.
Flying out of Ho Chi Minh airport
as business class passengers, we were given a choice between a couple of amenities.

as they often have some of the better redemption rates for both economy

To / from Detroit, Delta One suites are not available to partners at all and are priced at a remarkable 200,000 Skymiles each way (
as a comparison, you can
fly on other planes for

Though you might initially think of Singapore Airlines or All Nippon Airways (ANA)
business class as a way to
fly to Asia, you might want to consider EVA Air for one of these transpacific journeys too.
This is also in line with Donna's goal to
fly business class or first
class as much
as possible on this trip,
as a
business / first award booking with a stopover in Luxembourg takes no more points than a direct flight back to Chicago would entail.
We generally would not recommend spending 115,000 Delta miles to
fly business class,
as there are a handful of other airlines that offer much more economical awards to Australia and the South Pacific.
I think if you
fly business class then traditional airline programs are good, such
as Aeroplan and Alaska Air and American Airlines.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I redeemed 50,000 American Airlines miles to
fly one - way from the U.S. to Europe in

Joanna and I
flew with Air Tahiti Nui from Los Angeles to Tahiti
as part of our Bora Bora trip and, although our
Business Class tickets with the airline entitled us to entry to the Los Angeles International Lounge (in the Tom Bradley Terminal), we chose to use my Priority Pass membership (courtesy of my Citi Prestige credit card) to visit the Korean Air Lounge instead.
Another option to Dubai would be to
fly KLM out of Amsterdam and,

The reviews of this product have been varied and, while it's clearly not a bad way to
fly at all, don't expect the same amount of space
as you get in a
Business Class seat on one of American's 777 - 300ERs.

flying on a new

as the Prestige Sleeper, First Kosmo Sleeper or Kosmo Suite.
American have continued their assault on award redemptions to Hawaii by implementing a 40 % increase in the number of miles needed for a
Business Class ticket but, in the case of partner awards, this doesn't make much difference
as most people would be
flying to Hawaii on American Airlines and not a partner airline anyway.
This includes super elite Global Services members who are not
flying business or first
class - we asked United for clarification on this and they restated the strict policy: Customers ticketed for United Polaris

business class flights to Hong Kong cost about the same
as direct flights to Japan, you might consider
flying there with a stopover in Japan.

as Ft. Lauderdale is primarily a leisure route, British Airways isn't employing an aircraft with a large
Business Class cabin — just 40 seats — but that's still 40 more
Business Class seats
flying in and out of Miami 3 - 4 times a week.
As is the case with first
class, it will be easier to book one award seat (maybe 2, if you're lucky) if you want to
fly Qantas
business class.

With 63,000 Japan Airlines miles, you can
fly British Airways in
business class from cities such
as New York City (JFK), Chicago (ORD), and Dallas (DFW).
While the redemption rates with Air France / KLM

as competitive
as Korean Air or Delta when booking a Korean Air
business class award, there are many more options to earn
Flying Blue miles.
If you see that Korean Air will be
flying a Boeing 787 - 9 or Boeing 747 - 8, you will get to try their
business class seat known
as the Apex Suite.
These were definitely the short - haul aircraft to
fly as they came with Qatar Airways crews (complete with Qatar Airways service) and, more importantly, Qatar Airways
Business Class cabins with lie flat beds.
It's also worth noting that Discounted
Business Class fares on LAN on earn EQD at 20 % of miles
flown as compared to 25 % on most the airlines I've looked at so far.
