In my opinion I've always seen Giroud play better when he's used
as an impact sub, and maybe that's exactly what he needs to get going.
Cazorla has recently performed well, so he might start on the LW with OX coming on

Giroud has his flaws but you have to admit he has a role in our team, though for most
as an impact sub or start depending on the opposition of the day.
I feel the manager wanted to give Theo some protection or probably bring him on

I think for a while he should be used
as an impact sub at RW or RM, like Monreal was last season to build his confidence back up, plus his pace will impact tired legs.

Wenger could play both strikers of course, and Theo has been saying that he is happy to play wherever he is needed, but with Giroud struggling for confidence I expect the manager to use

If the starting lineup was my choice, I'd sit Giroud for this one and use

But depending on how the game is going and how well the front line is working, Sanogo could come on
as an impact sub, with his long legs, pace and power to give a tiring Man City defence a hard time.
We need a world class striker to lead our line, Giroud is there
as an impact sub or the guy that comes on for the last 10 min if needed.
Normally you would want Sanchez on the pitch even if he was not fully fit but with his poor form and questions over his frame of mind, would it not be better to leave him on the bench and use

sub and so many may wish to keep the team the way it is, after all there is a saying you don't fix what isn't broken.

sub when I come on in games.
