Could you please list these supplements that act synergistically with these azoles,
as my doctor has now prescribed me
itraconazole but unfortunately I'm not seeing any response and was hoping by adding these supplements it might help.
Antifungal agents such
as fluconazole or
itraconazole are often used to treat fungal infections.
In more severe cases, a veterinarian will also prescribe oral anti-fungal drugs, such
as griseofulvin or
itraconazole.
As with all prescribed medicines,
itraconazole should only be given to the dog / cat for which it was prescribed.
In patients with severe neurologic compromise or signs of sepsis, IV antibiotics, such
as cefazolin, should be considered for the first 5 to 7 days.3 If fungal disease is confirmed, discospondylitis should be treated with antifungal drugs, such
