There's some steering feel present too, and not
as much body roll as before, but under brakes the Pathfinder does pitch fore and aft.
The suspension shows evidence that Toyota has spent some time here trying to eliminate
as much body roll as possible without letting the ride become harsh.
The turning radius is very tight, and you don't feel
as much body roll as you would expect from a vehicle this large.
In a succession of short corners it feels more nimble and there isn't

much body roll in corners either, and combined with the well - weighted steering that means the Cross Country is almost
as good to drive
as the standard V40.
A new anti-
roll bar spec complements the equipment changes, offerings
as much as 5 percent less

as much as you would in other full size pickups and the amount of

The main idea there was to take the platform underpinning such vaunted luxury cars
as the BMW 6 Series automobiles and Mercedes - Benz SL vehicles and create custom
bodies for them —
much as the highly considered coachbuilders of the 1920s and 1930s did for companies like
Rolls Royce and Duesenberg.
On - road though, it's best left in «normal» mode,
as «comfort» mode results in severe
body roll and
much head bobbing.
During our initial driving, we didn't think
much of the Highlander Hybrid's cornering,
as it felt top - heavy and exhibited a lot of
body roll.
The
body doesn't lean or
roll much as you round a corner.
The steering doesn't provide
as much feedback
as the GTI and Civic hatchback, plus its suspension allows for a bit more
body roll than what's expected in a hot hatch.
There is some
body roll too but not
as much as other compact SUVs.
Toyota simply haven't put
as much R&D into crisp handling
as others have, and by this I don't mean Toyotas are unsafe, only that you'll experience a lot of
body roll (
roll, not
roll - over) if you have to make a sudden lane change.
