We baked it

topped it with a light cinnamon glaze.

toppings when I make

topping as the granola may lose a bit of its crunch factor.

tops look done but the bottoms feel unstable
as I pulled them out of the
muffin tin.
The sausage gravy serves
as the sauce on English
muffins and then it gets
topped with white cheddar, tomato slices, and scrambled eggs.
While very good
as muffins, they were crying out for some kind of crispy, sugary goodness on
top.
I made these first
as muffins, then
as cookies (and the second time, I omitted the water, there was plenty of liquid between the milk and applesauce) and they were still sticky in the middle, but the
tops and bottoms were firm, and there was less gooey - ness in the middle because there was less middle!
Once frozen, the streusal
topping will not stay
as crisp, but the
muffins will taste just
as good!
Place about 2 tbsp crumb toppig on
top of each
muffin - you'll have some
topping leftover, so feel free to add more or save it
as a deliciously sweet
topping for oats, nice cream, etc..
As a result, this recipe amount ensures you'll have PLENTY of crumb
topping for each
muffin, and you'll definitely have some leftover.
Try it
as a spread for your morning toast or english
muffin,
as a dip for your apple slices, or
as a
topping for your oatmeal.
This makes it great for cakes and
muffins topping,
as well
as for sandwiches and chips dip.
To store the
muffins, place them in a zip -
top bag with 1 paper towel and remove
as much air
as possible; store in cool, dry place.

muffin off with a teaspoon full of streusel and gently press into the
muffin so it makes sure to stick
as they rise.
as others have mentioned, they don't rise a ton, so fill your
muffin tin nearly to the
top.

muffins with a simple streusel.
