Middling films such as «The Penguins of Madagascar» and «Over the Hedge» would end up with more or the same number of nominations
as other animated films that were on a slew of year - end top 10 lists (don't get us started on the year «Fantastic Mr. Fox's» only earned three nominations).
Most critics are saying that the film features a lot of hi - jinx that kids are sure to enjoy, even if it doesn't reach the same emotional heights
as other animated films.

as these characters have a genuine interaction with each
other that doesn't necessarily come off well in
other animated pictures.

as the characters in the year's best
animated film slowly tiptoed outside of the boundaries of how they expect each
other to act, so did the story itself.

animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender, this new
film tells the story of four nations tied together by destiny
as one of them wages a war against the
other three.
Unlike «Frozen», «Tangled» and
other past Disney
animated films such
as «Chicken Little» and «Brother Bear», there's no originality or imagination in a script that easily could have been written in 45 minutes by a 14 - year - old.
No one — certainly not this writer — would argue that Pixar's
films,

other animated movie from a mainstream studio, aren't family - friendly, but why should that matter?
