as would some of the

And it was there in the warm South Seas — the
other side of the world from the city where men like Fly were «pent up in lath and plaster, tied to counters, nailed to
benches, clinched to desks» — that at age twenty - three he found Nature's own paradise on an island in the Marquesas and in the arms of a woman he fictionalized
as «Fayaway» in Typee (1846), the scandalous first novel he wrote upon his return.

as a first teamer he is a
bench player I'd rather have the ox there with sanchez on the
other wing.
As for the central midfielders I'd like to see xhaka with cazorla with ozil just behind giroud.I won't be able to see the match but i hope we win or else its curtains for another title challenge: -LRB-
Wilshere should have been brought in to create and add danger, speed to our game, Walcot some more and Giroud if needed... Ozil being supposed to sit apparently... So, it is no referee, but a team
as reflecting manager... If owners and Wenger himself do not get a huge container of coffee, we will finish 12 and he will be doing the walk of shame, leave himself remembered
as a loser... What they need to do NOW is bring Henry to assist him and do the job, boost, get players focused with winning spirit he has in him... Then wenger can sit all season long,
bench himself
as he does and watch henry do the running and screaming
as other manager dio... Then we will be in top 3, meaning third; there's now way to ctach up the Manchesters and if we do nt wake up now, we will fight for fourth place; the spurs will distance us and fight for second or third.
i hate those who mention cesc in their comment, who is him by the way, is he a god, can someone tell me where will he play in our starting11 or who should we
bench so that he can play by the way why bothering mentioning someone who plays for chelsea.we did nt need him and he did nt need us and mou said that, if he realy respect us
as you faithful fab fans think then why he has not said anything about that until now.for me arsene was right about that and fab was the one who was wrong for choosing chelsea while he knows that mou will mock us and the manager that he said he respected so much.he is just like
other judas who play for our rivals and i will not make a plea if he will be bood at the emirates.
Arsenal is a very difficult team to defend against because of the options that we have, starting or coming of the
bench, it keeps
other teams guessing...
as per the Theo or Welbeck discussion, having them both is a good thing for us.
I'm not getting carried away, but I always thought we had a good enough team to win the league, but there was clearly a major disagreement in the team after Christmas,
as nobody was even looking each
other in the face, on the field or on the
bench, but things seem to have improved now, along with the formation change.
No
other top 6 team would have this guy
as a starter... He's ok on the
bench but at this moment I would go kolosinac and wilshere in midfield with ozil miki laca and pea
as attacking force... Otherwise they will overrun the midfield and dominate possession... But
as with the imperishable mr fox I have no interest in an ersatz victory based on man city underperforming and giving the fossil an excuse to «respect his contract»
Come the
other year when Arsenal went the whole season without a defeat in the Premier League, Barcelona were attracted by Marc Overmas and Emmanue Petti, the two joined Barcelona, they played few games, and sometime on the
bench,
as a result Emmanue Petti decided to go back to England and joined New - Castle and always regret leaving Arsenal, then the
other year it was Alexander Hleb, he was the best dribller in Arsenal team, he went again to Barcelona, he was never given some games, I think he only played few games
as a sub, and his carrier was destroyed by Barcelona, then come Henry, he again went to Barcelona, he played some games but not like he used to do at Arsenal, he was not looking like a star player anymore, he decided to go to America, then there was Fabrigas, he joined Barcelona again, since he was one of their juniors, I think he played for two seasons, and supporter used to booing him, he decided to come back to Arsenal, by then Arsenal had already resplaced him with Ozil, and he joined Chelsea, then come Alexander Song, he pushed to go to Barcelona, he was always on the banch, and never been on first eleven, then he ended up regreting joing Barcelona, and wanted to go back to Arsenal, but normally Wenger do not take players who pushed themselves to be out of Arsenal, lastly there was Vermuleen, he went to Barcelona and ended up not playing at all but when playing for Arsenal they used to be star players.
Red Sox
bench coach Torey Lovullo is the
other name that has come up — Lovullo's contract kept him from interviewing for a manager position this past offseason
as a precaution given John Farrell's recent bout with cancer, but he's now free to seek a promotion elsewhere if he chooses.
The fact that you take Gibbs
as an example makes everything you say jut a pile of french frog poo, and you know it, same with Wilshere, like he was playing for Arsenal ever knowing that he spend more time at the
bench than in the pitch, Giroud is also a stupid example knowing that we had no
other striker besides him for years
Walcot is not a striker, he is a winger and a lazy one for that matter, wants
others to do his job for him while he gets paid... Put him on the wing where he belongs, and if he refuses to track back
as always,
bench him... if he wants to leave let him do so.
Sorry to say this but he got them because they were dimmed surplus for their team, they would never get first team player at their previous club, they would have been
benched and used
as substitutes because there were
others who were given first team chance than them.So when you are a substitute player at your current club, it is easy to get a player than signing a first team player.Sorry but this is the truth.
verdict: arteta, diaby, flamini and are leaving... but will the
other three accept to be
benched as ozil is Wenger's favourite?
The only thing which makes our team unbalanced is playing the luxury item we bought called ozil.I thought he would need time to adjust to physicality of premier league so i supported him, but the guy hasn't improved he tries to dribble past ppl but runs into them somehow, tries to do showboating at unnecessary time which he fails to do miserably. And i see him giving too many back passes when he should drive forward. And the biggest reason i stopped liking him
as a player is bcoz of his sulky attitude. No passion or drive for the club,
as if he wanted to be at some
other club and is just doing the job without his heart in it.He neeeds to be placed on the
bench and make him work hard to retain his place.Ramsey and coq in middle with ox and sanchez on both wing and cazorla
as cam will make us a more balanced midfield.
I understand the logic behind your thinking and I agree, this could be lethal, but it then means wilshere ramsey flamini and arteta are
bench players or have to be sold because none of them can operate
as the sole midfielder in front of our back four, arteta is probably the most well rounded for this but against better opposition I don't think he has the physique or pace to really command that area, he has the intelligence to read the game but without the
other attributes he can only do so much.
As we bow of the C1C, these players should be prepared to retain their place on the Arsenal
bench in
other competitions.

as much control at AFC
as others make out then I wish he had said «No» stronger to the players he wasn't interested in... Could have saved Perez a year of
bench warming at best.
As for Ozil, pay him what he wants and make commensurate demands of him namely he is not allowed more than two bad games a season (and I don't mean crucial games) or else he will see the
bench like any
other inconsistent player, if he wants ballon d'or salary, we need ballon d'or performances from him on a consistent basis.
The fact that the England and Germany international forwards did lift the home crowd and the
other Arsenal players so much coming on
as subs is one of the major reasons why Arsene Wenger will be happy to have them on the
bench tomorrow.
ill tel you why from life experience, its because no player gets replaced if they don't do well,
as long
as they have a few good games a season they are considered irreplaceable where
other teams you have a bad game or two your questioned or
benched, take Mourinho's comments just last week about Mkhitaryan that he is still monitored whether he will be starting or he will be on the
bench, at Aresenal we would star to build a statue outside the stadium,

bench if he wasn't starting lol, just seeing that passion every day must inspire
others to also become just
as passionate.
It's the issue of applauding him when I feel like anyone else could have sat on a
bench for 4 years, learning the same system, and come in and run the team for 7 games with an
other world defense
as a relative unknown.
Sanchez on the
other hand............ hmmm, I hope he stays though lacazette is better and doesn't have the «i'm the best here attitude» (check the stats and videos of his shots compared to sanchez), we need him cos he knows the team already and he's gonna be hard to replace, if he wants to leave, force him to sit out the remaining of his contract on the
bench as oxlade replaces him.
might be the making of players Joel Campbell, Elneny, Iwobi seeing
as Wenger is always unwilling to drop Ramsey when he.ia playing rubbish and
other players are
benched for him even when they are in better fettle
Elneny is a workhorse who does a good job for the team.He is a very handy player to have on the
bench because he is so adaptable
as he proved the
other night against Chelsea. At # 5m he is a steal which can not be said about Xhaka who is a liability when it comes to defending and lacks mobility to be an effective box to box midfielder.
the idea that walcott ramsey and ox will take us the next level just defies football gravity... they simply ai nt good enough bounce... would keep ramsey
as a utility player and sell the
other two along with mert arteta flamini and probably gibbs (only wenger would play him
as a winger when he actually has a couple on the
bench..
One of the
other decisions the boss had to make was at right back, where he has gone for Gabriel and with Jenkinson not even on the

other skills are good enough to make him a viable option off the
bench.
Who decided it was he to come on
as a sub and not any
other player on the
bench?
When Samuel commented on why it was wrong to sell Lucas Perez you brought up stats between Walcott and Perez and in that you proved using the stats why Walcott is better. If Wenger didn't have blond love for some of his players then why did he keep
benching Perez when he was performing yet the average guys always got a look in the squad. So if there are stats which prove Walcott is better aren't there stats which also prove Perez is better?Think about that. You also said Perez is not
as good
as some of us make out.The funny thing is yesterday we had an argument on Giroud and I also tried to imply that Giroud is not
as good
as we make out and you opposed. You always kept bringing stats up to defend him.Do you know if Bendtner or Chamakh had scored 25 goals for Arsenal in any season they'd still have been regarded
as average. You know why?Because quality has nothing to do with stats and is just a kind pf talent or state. It seems to me that you think you know it all.You also denied the fact that Wenger likes French players and that if Perez was French he wouldn't have been out in one season stating
other players
as examples. It seems to me that you deny things which are clear for everyone to see.If you think you know better than everyone go and teach Wenger how to win the trophy this season.
After pen to paper is done its business
as usual back to 4 -5-1 Giroud up top Holding
benched, come March the excuses we didn't expect Cazorla to still be out Koscielnys red card was harsh Europa league is tougher than we expected the players are fatigued after a return to form in mid April I believe this team has unbelievable mental strength we have an fa cup final to play 18
other club would love to be in our position judge me at the end of the season.
The
other Arsenal interest in this game was the Poland international keeper Wojciech Szczesny but
as he sat on the
bench while our former stopper Fabianski played and played well there is not much to say there.

as CAM... Rosicky can
as LW... Theo

as ST... Keeping all
other jaded legs on the
bench... Wt u guys think...???
Wilshere is on the squad because Wenger still believe in «something»... He is poor and miles away from the
other midfields (even though nobody had a great game on Saturday)... He should talk to Ramsey about improving...
As soon as Ozil is back, he will find his rightful place on the benc
As soon
as Ozil is back, he will find his rightful place on the benc
as Ozil is back, he will find his rightful place on the
bench.
Sanchez / Welbeck Lacazette I want us to play 4 -3-3 so that we can match Liverpool in the midfield
as I don't want us to be overrun.Xhaka can't defend and he should not start this match and if possible all
other matches for the rest of the season.Coquelin's tackles has caused us to score some goals every single season he's been here and I think we've missed that this season.I just don't know why he's been left on the
bench because if paired with the right partner can be used in a very defensive sense to great effect. Our team is so poor tactically.
It makes little to no sense and it means Bellerin has to work FAR harder for the team than need be.Ox is a class player and should not be on the
bench to facilitate
other players who are not
as good in his position.
to some extent
as Aguero is injury prone Chelsea, same
as Man city Even everton don't have a better striker on the
bench than Lukaku, Spurs too don't have any
other than Kane, chelsea only Costa is trusted, City trusts Aguero only..
i really hope that arsene wenger has
other plans on our striking situation and i hope he is not seriously considering benzema... if he is then i think he has to sell giroud first because it is very hard to see the guy who
benches you on the national team still
bench you at club level... my God how will ollie take that??? itl be devastating for him and to be fair to him,
as human it is hard to bear..

bench called for goaltender Braden Holtby to make his way to the
bench for an extra attacker, but Brandon Prust had
other ideas.
Stevens does an excellent job of utilizing his
bench, which means his teams aren't adversely affected by fatigue in the same manner
as many
other teams.
You'd really have to ask yourself if he'd still be here if he wasn't French.Wenger has every right to sell Giroud. If we were very ambitious we would've sold him long ago. We're treating him
as if he's a crucial player. The lesson will only be learnt when Lacazette goes out with a long term injury. We will then see how good the back ups are.To me he's not a super sub
as he's the kind of striker who requires service.Being a super sub is not enough because remember he's the next in line if anything happens to Lacazette.Giroud was Arsenal's main striker for a reason.Last season 99 % of the matches he scored coming of the
bench were matches he should have started to give us that aerial presence but Wenger shockingly started Sanchez. It's a shame fans will blame him next season again for his short comings. The guy is just not good. It's not good enough to be strong in aerial battles alone and weak in almost every
other aspect.I expect Arsenal and Arsene to do better. He must be sold.
It was a country mile offside, surely one of the officials must've seen that,
as everyone else in the stadium did, and I can't see the penalty being given against any
other team, so I think Wenger has a right to feel aggrieved in that sense, but the starting lineup was incomprehensible with Lacazette on the
bench, the amount of opportunities we had in the first 15 mins, he surely would've put one away, and why play Coq rather than Wilshere?
Backup point guard Cooper Dadami has also had big games off the
bench this season,
as has Sinjin Speer and
others.
However some players need to be put on the
bench including Flamini, Walcott, Metersacker, Oxlade when the
other players such
as Coquelin, Sanchez, Elneny, Wellbeck and Cazorla are fully fit.
If Wenger actually grew some balls like
other top managers he'd say bye bye to Arteta and sign a quality DM and would buy a world class CB and
bench Mertersacker,
as it is, he won't.

other hand, our
bench is mere defensive choices...
as uual.
In fact, this season Boniek has done well in his minutes off the
bench as his accurate passing usually supports
