of perfectionism that's creeping in due to my other forms
of writing; being uninspired by the formula that
food blogs are falling prey to, getting duller and duller even
as their
photos and graphics get shinier and shinier (tell me, please, that you know what I mean?)

food to be had,
as I'm sure you can imagine, and I'll be recapping that side
of things on here once I've got my
photos organized.
The
photo of your hen hooked me,
as well
as the range
of gluten free recipes and exquisitely nutritious
food combinations.
As you can see from the
photos, everything looks fabulous, and the aromas in the kitchen just left me wanting to cook everything Italian, like a commercial for olive oil I saw one time where a guy comes home to find out his significant other has cooked every inch
of food for miles into an Italian dish!
As Food Editor, I will be creating recipes for the magazine, taking loads
of photos and creating videos for the Vista Magazine Youtube channel!?

In the age when everyone's a blogger obsessed with
food, Instagram has found its niche
as young diners snap
photos of their meals, from the health - focused fast - casual restaurants to the finer dining independents
of cities big and small.
I've been doing a lot
of research on how to improve my
food photos,
as I will be starting my own
food blog (hopefully) soon, and this article was super helpful!

Stew them a little longer and make low / no sugar fridge jam... I just had to include this super simple recipe
as I think it's important to include such dishes when showing the variety
of foods you can enjoy on a specialist diet or just a plant - based diet, and I love these
photo's so much!
I've never liked the very white, very fluffy buns that most burger places tend to offer,
as I think the bun should have structure and crunchiness, but not too much so that it doesn't take out the attention from the actual
food,
as I'm a fan
of having a lot toppings (which you can see from the
photos I guess).

As a
food photographer, heck any photographer - to have one
of your
photos called beautiful is deeply appreciated.
Teaching myself how to take pictures
of food has been one
of the most satisfying and fun parts
of creating this blog, but
as a bit
of a perfectionist (ahem, understatement
of the century), I can be quite obsessive about my recipe
photos.
Somtimes I give you a little peek at the flea market finds in my home, my cute little Westie, Madison and my better half Chris, who shares my passion and doubles
as my
food stylist when I snap
photos of recipes for the blog.
As I've said many times here (most recently in my widely shared post, «Why I'm Fed Up With Those
Photos of School Lunches Around the World «-RRB-, comparing American school meals to those in France is a truly pointless endeavor — unless one is willing to look at the entire
food culture
of both countries.
But the book is more than just a collection
of interesting
photos; rather, author Andrea Curtis uses school
food as a starting point for age - appropriate discussions
of larger societal issues like poverty and the environment.
I have plenty
of pix
of ours sleeping in the backseat, on the commode, in their
food,... It's so funny to revisit bygone years through
photos such
as these.
No amount
of food styling is going to help some
of those items and I believe that my own cell phone
photos accurately represent exactly what I saw or I wouldn't post them here (
as I sometimes do.)
