With the dollar values involved in the
sales commissions I'd be very surprised to know that no one is trying to figure out a way to minimize the commission payable on a transaction while replacing the knowledge of the
real estate professional (
as much
as possible) with different
people to provide steps of the service and not the complete transaction service.
It is a project that goes on today through the hard work of special
people on behalf of the men and women who work in this business
as real estate brokers and
sales representatives.
Will they even need to meet with you «in
person»

The way I see it, great

I viewed myself
as a
real estate consultant, and not

sales person, until I retired from the business of personally earning a living on December 31, 2011.
It is a good idea whose time has come, but it will likely never be inplemented by the current powers that be

Seeing new MBAs entering the
real estate profession

real estate sales people are required to pass tests based upon in - school information about legal and family law matters in the generic sense, they are by no means qualified to comment on these matters in a fashion designed to guide the client to a resolution of his / her related query, in other words, holding themselves out
as experts in these areas.
A commissioned
sales person, who happens to hold a
real estate sales person licence, who views his / her mission in life
as one being to sell, sell, sell,
real estate, for the sake of commissions (the more the better),
as opposed to consulting with, listening to, and thereby assisting, clients with their

real property, are simply unprofessional behaviourists.
We live in a country where virtually anyone can pay some money to take / pass the courses necessary to be licensed
