as the almond topping cools it becomes wonderfully crispy so you will get crumbs when you cut into it.

as a «protein pudding» mixed in with non-dairy yoghurt or milk and
topped with fresh fruit,
almond butter and cacao nibs.
When I am making this for breakfast I reduce the amount of honey added,
top it off with some additional fruit such
as kiwi and add a bigger drizzle of
almond milk on
top.
So this recipe is my solution to that problem that I created last year and is still one of my favorites for whipping up when I want a sprinkle of something similar to muesli or granola to use on
top of smoothies or to put in a bowl with a little
almond or soy milk
as a quick snack.
I have been loving this with ice cold
almond or cashew milk, on
top of yogurt, or
as topping for overnight oats.
Try them puréed or steamed
as a side dish, baked and
topped with
almond butter or chili
as a hearty entree, or grated and sauteed
as morning hash browns.
You can add
almond butter or unsweetened shredded coconut into your bowl
as well for a healthy
topping to enhance flavor and texture.

Whole natural
almonds have been popular for chocolate coated
almonds and chocolate bars; they also promote healthy positioning and premium appeal.2
