Following several reports over the past few days, both Pebble and Fitbit have officially announced this morning that Fitbit will acquire Pebble's software assets
as the smartwatch maker is dissolved.

smartwatch efforts.
As Apple prepares to start selling its Apple Watch later this week, Google has announced some new features for its Android Wear software, which is used by a variety of
smartwatch makers.
RIP Pebble... The wearable

as bad news.

Maker customization shop to include the Moto 360
smartwatch.

maker unveiled its Wave wristband last week at IFA Berlin, joining the likes of big boys such
