I see lot of coments about how we can sign Reus «cuz he's a world class player.Yes, he is a great player BUT did you see how mutch this season was he injuried? The period when Dortmund win some games and comme forward in the table was the period when Reus was available, rest of the season he was injuried. This is one thing, the other think is that Klopp say he will leave Dortmund in the end of the season and looking for a new chalange.I'm pretty sure that he will leave to a big team and will take Reus after him.Sterling is exactly the same type of player as Sanchez, just doesn't have the same experience, he's not fully developed.I think he can be a first XI player for us and I think will be great alongside Sanchez, replacing Cazorla when he will leave.Sterling is an English player, will be great to see him at nationat team too, and we need as mutch as rest of the big teams from EPL home grown players. The coments who say that we have Gnabry and Wellington make me laugh, really?Do you want trophies?Or do you want to see more young players and waiting year after year to confirm or just see how they doesn't play anything? We are a top team, and need performance in UCL too, not just participaiting.Sterling is a young CONFIRMED player who will definetly help us.Agree that he's not fully grown but he will be a great player.
As for Giroud I hope what I'm hearing is not true. You get the feeling that once Lacazette starts scoring he just won't like it.He's also another overrated player who's also hear because of Wenger's kindness.Apart from the fact that he's good with his head I don't see the positives of keeping here and even Welbeck. We need players who can push Lacazette to perform and these are just not the players. They are more of rotation players.Do you think if Welbeck and Giroud were at top form they can challenge Laca at his best?I always laugh at our strikers though. On one hand, one doesn't fit our style of play but at least he can finish. On the other hand, the one who fits our style of play can't even score a goal.I can't believe we are joking with such a crucial role.I'm sick and tired of seeing average strikers in the club. It's been painful watching the likes of Bendtner and Chamakh already. Now I have to cope with this.
Alexis, If you seriously think that, apart from the occasional exception, Arsenal are either motivated by Wenger or self motivated, then you have been ignoring not only the legendary soft underbelly we have had for about the last decade, which is universal accepted as the awful truth throughout the Prem world, by our ex-players, other top ex player pundits and virtually all our own fans too.

it will be three outfield players max this summer i think wenger will always stick with scezschny because he is an arsenal man from a young age and wenger always stays loyal to these type of players, we just need to get a better goalkeeper coach in maybe seaman or lehmann to help sharpen him up, as for the other player it will be c / h, d / m and c / f additions not replacements we need to add not replace so we have top quality backup in reserve.

the problem is the complacency that has gotten hold of Wenger's brain due to lack of pressure from the top has infected the whole club... Wenger knows his job is as safe and forth knoxx so LOSING IS AN OPTION in the scheme of things, there is always another game to make things right, always another season to try again and this, whether consciously or otherwise is a malaise that has infected the player» a pysche... We're NOT linked now with anyone else and that's a worrying thing in itself, I personally really don't think Walcott is good enough to play that striker role and I know I'll get roundly «thumbed down» for this but its how I feel about the boy he's good but NOT as good as he thinks he is and it annoys me that theres a possibility that all the toing and froing around his contract may be stopping us from signing a top notch striker (and I DO NT think Martinez is this) I do feel that AW will opt for the cheap and second rate options again and this will also include not buying a striker and putting Walcott in this role, meanwhile all our rivals will be putting strong established players into the positions where they need to bull up their squads we are not well known for doing this and its not going to happen now, which is infuriating as this is the right time to break that mould and go for it!!
So... with this kind of «getting players as cheep as possible» or «hard to get top players» problems... all we need now is to Old Man Wenger makes Tierry go away from AFC!!!??? Wenger should take some advices from TH instead..
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
its Money cause if it was trophy's it have be Man City my guess I think pep don't like how Sanchez is acting if I was Man City fan I wouldn't want him I use love Sanchez but he's true colors are showing arsenal have try offer nice package now I think he's been bit greedy with everything but who can blame him we're shambles from top too bottom I don't care where he goes I don't care we're ozil goes and by looking at lacasette he looks like he wants out as promises have been broke he came play with Sanchez and ozil and he gets welbeck and iwobi not fair really, I just want wenger gone because them players are not playing for him a lot is not rite and we as fans are paying for it but I don't care anymore don't care who leaves who comes in club is dead watch Liverpool yesterday boy was I envy ahwell let's see what happens
it goes without saying that AW must leave and another coach to come he can stay close to the team as manager or head of board but it is clear that our team is in need for so many years of a defensive midfielder (William Carvalho) and a left back (J Rodriguez) on top of them if we buy Mbappe and this player from Celtic, Dembele i believe our team will be in very good shape as we will have players to cover all spots in good order we can get rid of players such as elneny, gabriel, debuchy, jekinson, lucas, chamberlain, mertezaker, coq and get back jack wilshere who together with ramsey, xhaka, santi they can make a quite productive midfield together with Carvalho watching their backs if we sell ozil, sanchez we can move for 3 more players such as gueye, mahrez and gibson
Kante seems like a player that likes to keep his head down and just get the job done and although it is going to be a battle to get him away from Leicester City in the first place as well as to fend off the challenges from other clubs, if Arsenal is looking for a defensive midfielder this summer to replace the outgoings, then Kante should definitely be a top priority.

The sad truth is that we are just a couple of players away from having a very strong starting 11... Wenger's fixation with Walcott and mertesakher as starting players remains a mystery to me... neither have the quality of a top team like arsenal... I am not a giroud hater but he is still too inconsistent and the big question is whether welbeck can push him in a way Walcott won't... Campbell has done well and has moved ahead of Walcott and, ox for sure but there is still a question about how much more he can improve... Elneny is certainly an upgrade over arteta and flamini whether he will make it I don't know just hope that he does but arguably wenger could have been more ambitious... That leaves a top quality striking option... There is no doubt that wenger deluded himself over the summer and that needs to be corrected ASAP... Draxler dybala aube and even griezman with a big enough big could have been prized in summer... january not a good time for this but it is not difficult to find better options than Walcott ox or Campbell... All a question of whether wenger wants to win EPL on his terms or wants to win this for the club
There's a smaller pool to choose from, so naturally it's unlikely to produce as many top quality players.
Every criticism of players gets interpreted as hate by the AKBs... Ridiculous... Here is the basic truth Iwobi has some good points as you identify but he is a long way from being the finished article and it is absurd that he is a regular in a team trying for top 4 let alone winning big titles..
